Yo. Any Metroplex MKII owners up in here?

For example this might be your bag but not mine so we might not agree on tone:

oh I get it.
I’m a Cream guy at heart.
It’s not about screaming or mutes.
It’s the restraint if you want to go there
that dudes should know about.
It’s a feel thing, the way an amp responds if you manipulate tones with your hands.
That feel, if you want to go heavy by all means do so.
Maybe it’s this ‘emulation’ that actually gets in the way?
The amps I play now can go from
Cream to scream while riding the beam.

I am also heavily influenced by the 60s British Invasion and that is one of the tones I am after which might not be what everyone is looking for in a Marshall or any of the other choices.

I really hope they are what they are cracked up to be because I have a 50W MkII coming next year. :) Any new amps coming into the house result n some back and forth in the household, too; so it is not an every day thing for me.

In the back of my head the VH1 tone is always my benchmark for 80s style sounds, but I need an amp with a master and really want an FX loop so this amp feels like it might be able to provide that archetypal tone with the MV and Loop capability. It seems to be well tuned for what my ear gravitates too.

I want an amp that does that straight up Marshall high mids thing, no apologies. My modern high gainers tend be lower mids focus.

IIRC @Rdodson has a MkII and seemed happy w/ it.
