I don't do Twitter (X) or TikTok or even IG -but I'm curious how someone who does follows the election night. Is it a flow of tweets? Do they show maps. I need maps.

You can go to X and in the search put "election maps" in and then select from the Top or Latest posts...I just ran a search and there was a post from the Wall Street Journal and this is the link to their live map below - for the most part though, you're going to sift through a lot of bullshit so best just to run a search on whatever search engine you choose as it is mostly going to be random posts and crap that shows up. I have a pretty good base of people/accounts I follow so just run a search depending on what I'm looking for and click on posts from accounts on the "People You Follow" tab on the side. I hope this helps.

I`ve been watching this guys, they had live streams of the election night with maps etc.

PS: don`t cringe at the guy with the sunglasses. He`s actualy pretty good in his overall and daily political analyses.








The first two are political commentators leaning libertarian/concervative. The third one is daily wire.
 
I wish the ballot had a better explanation of Prop 1. What I read on ballot sounded like protecting women’s rights, then I come to work this morning and it seems the ballot wasn’t that forthcoming with the definition…

It seems more for the queers and transgender bullshit?
Males competing in female sports?

I appreciate that. I mean, yeah I know how to search and find maps. But for something like this, where I want to monitor progress on something for several hours, tweets and social posts seem to make it difficult.

Weeding through crap and misinformation is my primary reason for adopting this media form. I guess I'm old school. And yes, I realize that you have to weed through the crap on Fox and CNN too - and make your own informed decision.


@dcburn + @dcburn mk.ii - Yeah, the abortion bill would have had a much better chance of surviving if they had not loaded it with the rest of the crap. Letting kids try to turn their sex without telling their parents at a time when they are not yet mature is a huge mistake imo.
