Will the market come back around after the election?

I'm thinking about buying 20 guitars.
It's a buyers' market.

When energy comes down (and it will) and the Ukraine money funnel into the pockets of corrupt politicians (Dem and Rep) comes to an end, food will become more affordable.

Then gear will start to sell again.

If evil red man actually lowers or abolishes income taxes, we will have prosperity like we've never known. That will pave the way for a new republican party and hopefully the Mitch McConnel's and Mitt Romneys will forever be extinct.

Those 20 guitars will instantly be worth more!

Vance / Owens 2028 2032 becomes a thing

The only way batman's legacy will continue is if Vance goes in afterwards. Trump will mentor the man. Therrs a potentual here for 15-20 years of straight up growth and prosperity....

There will be tax benefits to companies that come back or build/provide US jobs
It is not 20M it is more like 13M - 16M
They are not low level workers like hard working mexican migrant workers
Different groups for one
They are low level scum who took advantage of a poor policy and circumvent the law

Who is filling these jobs? You’re at nearly zero unemployment.
 
I'm hoping for some good times. Day 1, reverse all the executive orders kneecapping our fossil fuel industry. Once transportation cost go down, it should have a nice trickle down. Insurance companies and big pharma should be next. I hope he selects RFK and Tulsi for his cabinet, Elon would be awesome as well.

Then restrict visas short term and secure the border. Immigration is fine, it just has to be done legally. You're never going to convince me illegal immigration is good, it's affected my small little town in upstate NY. They were bussed into a Motel 8 for $300 a night, had gov food cards, and were enrolled in our schools. How do you think that worked out? They brought diseases we haven't seen since the 60's, and the hotel was condemned not long after. They were then sent to other hotels outside of our area. They weren't here to assimilate as American citizens.

My parents are immigrants that came here the right way, learned the language, adopted the culture, and created a life for our family.

I apologize if I offend anyone with my rant, my buddy opened a bottle of 25 yr old Macallan today. :love:

If you want to end illegal immigration you need to do three things.

One, stop providing any benefits to non-citizens.

Two, arrest and fine any employer who hires them.

I worked for a company where 70% of the employees were undocumented. The owners hired them, and accepted their fake paperwork, because the employees worked cheaper, longer and without complaints about conditions.

We already have a E-Verify system, which is vastly under utilized. If every single employee, everywhere was verified, the opportunity to come here and send money home would dry up.

If employers were fined $10,000 and to serve one month of jail time, for each month of employment , for each undocumented employee, business owners would comply. As it is, we place 100% of the blame on the workers and give “job creators” a pass, it’s disingenuous. You know damn well the guys doing your yard work are illegal, but you too look the other way to get a better price.

Three, end the ability to send money out of the country so easily. Western Union and a host of apps make it far too easy for these people to send money home.

Enforcing these changes will lead to billions in costs, many businesses which are only viable under the current system will cease to exist, and prices will skyrocket. Getting your lawn mowed for $35 will be a thing of the past. Construction costs will go up 50%. Food will increase 25%+, some items like pork, will become unobtainable in the short term, as that industry is over 90% undocumented.

The problem is, people erroneously assume there are Americans missing out on these jobs and they will just step in to fill the void. There is no evidence of that. Which means, such actions will result inflation and a shrinking GDP.

Are you truly willing to live through a very difficult decade to get to the other side? The top 10% will ride it out, but the rest of you are going to have a very tough go of it.

This issue was raised in the 1980 election, Ronald Reagan ignored it. Biden didn’t create this problem, he just did not fix it. Over the past forty-four years, Republicans have been President for twenty-four of them, including Trump, who ran on it but did little to make the three changes I outlined which are required to truly get to solving the issue on all levels. Do you honestly believe his hotels and golf courses only employ legal citizens to mow the grass, clean the rooms and prep the food?
