Correlation is not causation.If EVERYONE has more, it increases the demand side of the equation, leading to the very inflation it is supposed decrease.
Inflation is the increase of the money supply, causing every individual unit to decrease in value. Just because inflation causes prices to go up, due to the currency losing value, does not mean that every increase in price is inflation. Supply and demand are normal market factors that determine price independent of inflation. The market will adjust itself in most cases, but the money we use is controlled by a private bank.
Inflation causes price increases, but not all price increases are inflation.
