J/K man, that sounds really good. I picked up a JJ100 clone by Ceriatone locally, and I love that stupid thing. I can only imagine the real deal screams. Oh and congrats! :cheers:

I REALLYYYY like what im hearing from the snorkler big time, I’ll probably get one. I want an original Helios though too lately, phenomenal sounding amp it seems.
 
I love my JJ. Not necessarily for AIC tones, although I do play a bit of AIC. Just for rock, hard rock and metal, it sounds right to me. Mine has the boost/channel switching option between the BE and JBE channels too, which makes it more like a 3 channel amp. If yours doesn't have that you should seriously consider getting it added by Dave.
 
That's awesome! I'd love to try one of these as I've been a huge AIC fan since the beginning. I'm also interested in the Butterslax, but I'd definitely have to try one before buying. I've been put off Friedman amps since I had a Runt 20. What an incredible turd that thing was.
 
I don’t know man, for me it was one of the biggest disappointments.
I even had Dave trick mine out which I always had him build the amps how I wanted.
That Voxy clean’s kinda worthless and the JBE mod sounds off, off not being killer.
Are you boosting , editing?
Now that Snorkler, especially after Hels’ demo,
is the new cat in the bird seat.
Sounds huge, leads & rhythm, herds of dopamine in those massive mids
I’d sell that JJ and go Snorkin’ man.
 
JJ-100 is my favorite Friedman of the half dozen I’ve owned or played. It was my main amp for a number of years. Congrats! I’ll check out the clip later when I can
 
Actually, I’d sell that JJ and fervently purchase this insanely killer amp man.
Listen to how quiet the amp stays as he toggles through caps & settings, especially the super high gain notches.

I saw AIC in 2014 with Jerry using his JJ100's at this show and I thought the amp tones were as good or better than the SNorkler/Bogner tones on the albums. The overall mix of that show was one of the best that I have ever heard at a live concert show.:2thumbsup:

I always said that guys that wanted a brighter/crunchier more raw BE100 should check out the JJ100........at least that what my ears tell me anyway.

Great clip, that's what I remember Jerry's tone sounding like, I don't remember what the singer guitar player was playing, I don't know if he was using the Metropolous amp yet in 2014 but Jerry's tone crushed it that night.

His live tone has consistently been the most impressive guitar sound I’ve heard in person. Looking forward to seeing him in a few months
