Well this is inbound! Honestly not even sure what made me check Reverb for this guy in particular today.

There were 4 or 5 used on there and this one was the lowest price of all of them. Made a “no way he’s gonna take this offer” offer… but then he DID take it.

lol!! Yeah...it's happened to me too. See something you "kind of" would like to have but nothing ya gotta have so...throw a lowball bid on it.
Wake up the next day and check your offer progress and "Oh shit!!" now I gotta pay for it!!!! lol!!

So it was listed at $1595 with free shipping. I offered $1300 figuring he’d decline. Like you said, was not a “ I need this!!!” But yeah, for my offer price, I knew I’d be more than happy to get it.

I've been trying to resist the temptation to try all kinds of new amps, trying to be fiscally responsible, but this forum isn't helping, lol. Congrats man!
I hear that! I’m SUPPOSED to be paying some stuff off, but what’s a girl to do??

resistance is futile.

I took several years away from RT, was using modelers and had maybe 3-4 tube amps; within 1-2 years I have 10 tube amps, and around 10 new guitars (though I've sold about the same)

I've been back a couple weeks, and I'm already considering a deal this weekend, lol.

Dude do you have a Ceriatone King Kong? When I was watching YT vids on them a user/channel named erock was slaying through one and thought “wait, is that Eric? That looks like his PRS he used to have back in the day”. I ended up getting one a few weeks ago and love it!

Thanks bud, I do, well I did. My good friend has it at his house right now, and I don't think he's willing to give it back, lol. Isn't it killer? I think it's supposed to be a CCV or Atomica clone, but I'll be honest, I like it better than either of the ones I owned.

I picked up another Ceriatone locally, the JJ100 from forum member Grimmchaos (super cool guy as well), and I'm having a blast with that thing too. That's the only reason I let him try it. I'm so glad these things fly under the radar, I got a ridiculous price on it for what it is.

Nice! I thought so. Yeah I love mine and it smashed the Atomica I played. Not even similar. Still haven't played a CCV though but from what I mostly here from others it’s more a feel thing that differentiates it from all the other talented Marshall modders out there.

Nice score on the JJ. I am curious about his new SLO clone he just put out.

Normally I would be too, but it will just piss me off if it's better since I have one, lol. I would agree with the CCV assessment as well, they are fun amps to play. You're getting a closer taste of it compared to the Atomica IMO.

Have you had a chance to look at the guts of one of these things? I'm kind of stumped how they have the construction/quality, and come in where they do for price. It has to be a supply chain thing or something.

I scored a Flying V like that on eBay some years ago.

Had an ex who was horrible with money, which forced me to sell it.

Love the accepted low-ball offers. I think I ended up with a Timeline like this for something wild like 200.
