It’s nice to know my pedal must have shitty caps thenThese Griffin Analog review threads are getting worse than the VH threads .............. cluster fucking up the forum ....
just kidding .......... I don't mind the VH threads ..... or pedal review threads ....especially of my stuff
and this pedal is friggin killer ( I have to agree ) ........... I stepped up yet again in quality of parts ........ and will now try these same Vishay film caps in some other OD's
definitely ........... lolIt’s nice to know my pedal must have shitty caps then
Yes ... same circuit / build ... different.enclosure... knobs .. etcWayne, is my Tone Ripper the same as the BH?
I’m hitting the front of my 72 SL with the TR for gain, using level to control volume of the 72 cranked (per Racerxrated’s advice), and the results are glorious. Of my 79 JMP, Rev C and IIC++, this TR/SL combo is my favorite tone in the house. The mids are to die for and it sounds HUGE.
I also compared the TR with the Friedman BE OD and the TR smokes it. It’s more raw, aggressive and punchier. Next level pedal.
Well played, Wayne
