I figured Tony would be a Fractal player.

I remember when Steve Howe was all in on Line 6 including Variax.

Kemper and other capturing devices, once you have the capture, seem like they're easier to dial in, and closer to using amps vs deep editing in modelers.

That has the same distant, not in your face type of guitar sound I kept getting when I tried recording with a Kemper. I have heard others get great sounds with them but I just could not figure it out. User error I know both by myself and whoever recorded this Iommi track.

but that shit wasn't terrible. i mean i could hear the kemper mids. cocked wah mids on a kemper sound too cocked wah. its hard to explain, but i hear it a mile away having owned half a dozen kempers. having said that, they are my fav modeler by a long shot.
