I recently picked up an 87 ESP Mirage from the 48th Street Custom Shop. It needs a lot of work, fret leveling, binding repair, body crack repair, etc.. According to the owner who ordered it in person, it was the first year ESP offered the Original Floyd Rose, which lines up with everything I'm seeing. I'm swapping the Floyd, including the rusty and heavily worn posts. I was looking at getting FU Tone Titanium Bridge Posts. The problem? It looks like ESP used a Post and Insert Collar from their Sinclair tremolo on this body. That makes sense, they probably wanted to use up all the miscellaneous parts to save money. The threads and the inserts are vastly different from what is on the market, including the FU Tone Titanium Posts.

Post Thread: M8 x 1.25
Insert Diameter 11.3mm
Insert Length: 30mm
Seems like there's nothing drop in for this weird Sinclair post. Filling the holes and redrilling isn't an option. All the FU Tone, Floyd, Schaller and Gotoh inserts are too long.
TLDR: Anyone use a machine shop or hobbyist with a lathe to make one off parts? Looking to get two insert collars made. Hopefully I can find someone who can make two of these out of brass.
