… That Metallica’s 72 Seasons is in the running for a Grammy again? They just won last year, I thought.

I’m expecting a lot of answers like “The Grammys don’t matter”, etc.

But f*ck, everyone knows what I’m thinking about this whole charade.

Hint: begins with shit, rhymes with Illuminati.

All coming out into the open. The poor fools, their only prayer was secrecy.

And now Biden wants to start World War III.

Talk about crazy. I hear Zuckerberg is fit and into MMA, good luck. I’m going to keep out of this shitfest.

Because for the Grammys, Metal = Metallica.

That said, DT did win a Grammy in 2022 for Best Metal Performance. They also got one in 2014, Best Metal Performance; and in 2012 Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance...but who's counting. I'm not. :D

Sir, this is a Wendys.

A grammy is a cheap trophy that is itself another dust collecting hunk of crap my wife would bring home from the thrift store. But getting nominated for a grammy will throw your music career into overdrive. Most awards shows are like being in a room with the same few people patting each other on the back year after year.

Fake Fixed Shit just like boxing.

Everything. You think Connor McGregor was an MMA great? Just a paper champion like Tommy Gunn. And his match with Floyd Mayweather? Fixed. Just like the Paul-Tyson fight.

Weird thing? Everyone knew what the outcome would be. Everyone. There was even a leaked script before the fight. Yet they still watched.

Two songs from one album though, in different years? It happened with Slayer too, suspicious as hell.

But thems the rules, and we’re all just sheep until they send us off to fight wars and get blown up. Then we’re cannon fodder.

It’s all bot farms, like the ones social media influencers use, that’s my theory. Just create hype about a product, even if it’s crap. After critical mass is achieved, real people just click to find out what the hype is about.

That’s how I got hornswoggled into listening to Oppa Gagnam Style and Despacito. And the songs were shit.

I’d fix that to say

And Justice For All
Died After
Metallica Sold Out

People shouldn’t despair when their music videos get zero hits or their subscriber numbers flatline. That’s Google and Meta doing that to you with their algorithms.

I just soothe myself by thinking that I’ve got bigger fish to fry. My mission on Earth, so to speak.

Obviously the shiteratti didn’t learn from “Pappy’s fate”, as I like to call it, hahahaha

The trick is not giving the slightest fuck about the Grammys.

Ah, if it was only just the Grammys. Unfortunately, it’s also the movies, sports, business and politics.

Every aspect of life, really.

Just look at Elon Musk holding a lottery for anyone who voted for a candidate of his choice. I don’t think I need to remind anyone that financial inducement to vote for a politician is highly illegal. Or at least it should be, don’t you think?

Or how about the lack of regulation for cryptocurrency, even though it was initially only popular among arms dealers, cyber criminals and paedophile rings. And as more people started to use it, and it surged in value, those arms dealers, cyber criminals and paedophiles sold their holdings to become legitimate, bonafide millionaires.

Maybe you’d be more interested in business, where that blood testing company Theranos hoodwinked investors out of billions and the company founder got a rap on the wrist. Politicians were heavily invested in the company and sat on its board. Did they get their money out first? Seems likely.

You could also look at how so many girls who go to Hollywood with stars in their eyes wind up in pornographic film shoots. Or the porn industry in general, where a creep like Ron Jeremy was outed for drugging women after being celebrated like a hero for decades. Reminds me of Jeffrey Epstein, who pimped out underage girls to millionaires and billionaires and then died mysteriously when he was about to spill his secrets. At least one British royal settled with an accuser in connection with Epstein.

And that’s just the states. It’s a lot darker in countries like India and Venezuela.

Ever heard of Surender the Cannibal? A place called Nithari, in Noida, India. Killed and ate a lot of young children.

He was released from jail last year, even though they found cooked human flesh in an oven at the place he resided with his employer, Moninder Singh Pander, who is very well connected with the police and politicians. There were chopped up body parts of the victims just thrown in a drain. Allegations of organ trade. All buried because some judge declared that there was a “lack of evidence”.

I used to live near there when I was in school. My 12-year-old dog went missing in that area. Sometimes, I wonder what happened to Biggles, as he was called.

Not saying stuff like that doesn’t happen in the states or Europe, mind you. There are an awful lot of people who go missing every year, especially children. The Madeline McCann case in Europe also troubles me.

Have you seen Sin City? Good movie, scary concept.

Just saying, there’s something rotten in the state of Denmark.

Or to get back on topic, something about Metallica being nominated in two separate years for two songs on a single album stinks to the high heavens.

As Public Enemy once said, "Who gives a fuck about a goddamn Grammy"
