Soldano preamps

I do enjoy playing my 100w Mezzabarba M Zero so I bought a Fryette 2902 for good measure, and from what I understand, It has a lower 60w setting too so I shall see/hear haha Can't wait to 4CM that lil piglet

They both sound very different IMO. The KT88s in the 90w power amp are distinctively different sounding than the EL-34s in the 50w one.

I saw buried in an instagram comment somewhere that fryette stated they have something "better" than a purple VHT 2150 in the works that is coming out sometime....I was planning on using the X88IR with a Mesa 2:90 that I already have until I saw what fryette is going to cook up next

No way Really? I just put a down payment on the new KSR Rack Power amp, going with el34's and a foot switch, I'll be the guinnie pig

Awesome! I heard from them the loads are static atm but they’re working on reactive loads for it, but it’s gonna take some time.

And no that’s not my rig that was just the post that was commented on for context haha. I could be so lucky.

It’s not like I’m slumming it in the rig dept tho
