What guitars are currently in your stable?

Do you think figured wood or flamed stuff affects sound or do you think it’s just cosmetic?

I've never cared much about the tone wood conversation honestly. I think two identical guitars with the same wood will sound different. Too many variables. I just like them for aesthetic.

down to 11 but I'm even going to move a couple of these as I've gone back to playing my USA Jacksons 90% of the time I play now.

I loved that purple Mayones up there. This was my white Mayones Regius Core 7 and green Sugi DH496C.

Both guitars were stolen when I transferred for work from Singapore to India in June 2021.

So they are my guitars, but long gone. Just thought I’d share pics in case anyone spots them.

Hey man, since you have a Caparison and a lot of Jacksons, could you tell me if the necks are the same? Been reading a lot about that, and some day I want to get a Jackson.

Hey,

The Caparison is a bit thicker. My Jacksons are all Bolt-Ons. All are USA DK-1s except a MIJ DK2M. These are supposedly a bit thinner than the SL2H for example. They are roughly 0.750" at the 1st Fret and 0.800"-0.850" at the 12th Fret.

The Caparison is about 0.820" at the 1st Fret and 0.890" at the 12th. It still has a fairly similar wide and flat type of feel like the Jacksons. But, thicker.

I'm not sure what other Caparisons are like. This is the only one I've owned and I can't remember what any other ones I played felt like. This Dellinger is a slightly old model before they changed to the multipiece necks, so I'm not sure if they changed neck shape and size.
