If sticking a banana to a wall with duct tape costs $6.2 million…

I am hoping the benefits extend beyond just looking nice.

Those are Kryna Azteca pyramids, which are made in Japan.

They were in pretty bad shape after being moved from house to house, so my dad-in-law offered to paint them for me.

I’m really glad he did, I think the room looks really great now. It’s like functional wall art for
a studio.

I have another 14 of these that I plan to hang up, with some reserved for the wall that is opposite my computer.

I finished doing the room. Here are the pics.

A lot of 100hz and sub-100hz low end. Mid frequencies and high frequencies are exaggerated and subdued in various places.

Thinking of upgrading my Apollo 8p interface to one of the newer X8p interfaces, so that I can use DSP for Sonarworks. But no real rush.

Nice arts & crafts kimg

Yup, I'm really happy with them. I bought the Aztecas many years ago, and they were quite battered after fixing and them and removing them from the walls when I was renting.

The art makes them look amazing and has given them a new lease of life.

And to think I was trying to sell all 28 of them for $50 bucks not so long ago haha
