It's maybe $3 worth of chinese crap
Tell me you've never built a pedal without telling me you've never built a pedal. :p

It'll be cheap, partswise, sure, but not $3 cheap, even if you produce thousands of them. Housing alone will probably cost them between $2 and $3 already at a 10k MOQ I recon.

Almost every Klon clone out there does exactly what the Klon does, if not better. The real magic is getting a clone and then adding your own black goop on the circuit. This increases the crystal lettuce in a circuit or something.

I did manage to get my hands on a real Klon a couple weeks ago.. and I captured it on my Quad Cortex at various settings. It's an O.K. pedal, but not useful for a metalhead. I can't believe anyone would pay $7k for one of these.

It's maybe $3 worth of chinese crap plus the cost of putting it on a boat/truck to the USA. Overpriced trash like most Behringer gear.

Also Behringer has like its own city in China. massive production facilities = cheaper shit.

also, i can't believe anyone "Goops" their circuits. like a hair dryer and a metal pick aren't going to take care of that shit in 5 minutes. or measure components from the bottom of the board assuming they didn't goop both sides.

I want the Fortin modded version of the Behringer klone. It will be the brutalz. Oh my god...the "clank", brah! The "CLANK"!! Now my recto will have the ultimate retro-mod tone!! Tubby and tight at the same time...like a 30 year old fat virgin vagankle. (should stopped typing after the first sentence)

Behringer analog synths and digital mixers work great for me; several years and counting.
I'm sure. The Behringer Midas clones ( mixing consoles) seem to be good too. They're still garbage. Ask any tech if they'll fix your Bugera/Behringer and see what they say.

I have a shitty Chinese automatic center punch from Harbor Freight that works pretty good too. It's still a piece of shit. Which is why it cost me $4 when the Starett cost me $40.

hopefully the gear will last awhile...so far so good, but some I don't use frequently. Behringer made a few unobtainium analog synths available to me (Arp, Moog) which I appreciate...they have other classic analog synths from other brands too (Sequential, Oberheim, Roland, Korg, Solina,...) as well as their own line of new analog synths.

You're missing this one too. It's terrific.

I've actually been wanting to get a pedal from that builder. I really think the designs are adorable. The Power Buffer that has the PPG on it is adorable, but I don't dig buffers for the most part I guess.

Daddy Daughter Pedal Co. I think?

I am a dad with daughters so.... Yeah.
