Man...Opeth. reminds me of the time I had a orig 55 single cut LP junior in my sights...it was a refin (good quality) and a fucking MONSTER guitar...the p90 was nasty perfection. Was ready to buy it after a few days thinking it over...went in...and it sold...to the guy in Opeth (Frederik). Still long for that junior but prices have gone from crazy to fucking insane. Oh well I guess.

I gave it a few passes and digested it. I like it. It brings together everything they've done throughout there existence into one album. It's got a vibe.

Same deal for me. They’ve got some good stuff in there for sure. I just get bored with prog (I guess?) stuff. Opeth is the best of the bunch to me.

Well, I listened to it a few times. It's obviously well done and well produced. But, it was boring to me... it was too predictable. Nothing jumped out and surprised me...

I much prefer Spock's Beard or the Neal Morse band. Much more interesting to my mind...
