Congrats. There's only one way to test it.
This sucks. So you stole this and he stole your X88IR?!??!Sooooo… my drummer is the guy I build guitars with (Valkenburg USA). He owns a retail and repair shop as well.
Tells me to come down and he’s got something cool I’d want to check out. He took “it” in on trade for peanuts…
I get there and he shows me this!!!
Has a few bumps and bruises but fook me, I’ve wanted a White Falcon for ages!
Actual model is called “G6136T-59 Vintage Select Edition” $3999 at MF, got it for just above a quarter that price…
I am well pleased!
I still haven’t even opened it yet!! lol! This sucks. So you stole this and he stole your X88IR?!??!
Ownership and possession are 98% of having something. The rest is actually using it.I still haven’t even opened it yet!! lol!
No shit?Billy Duffy says he used to cut up old t-shirts and stuff them inside the guitar to reduce feedback.
That’s my best guess on the T as well. O my other guess would be to indicate the TV Jones pickups but who knows. I know the VS is “Vintage Spec”That's a long model name for a White Falcon.
I need to learn to decode Gretsch's model designations.
I know the T stands for tremelo.
Or is it vibrato?![]()
No shit?
Here it is all put back togetherNo shit. I guess it reduces the vibration in the hollow body or something. He said he used ripped up old t-shirts, and sometimes small chunks of foam.
I would kill for a White Falcon. I once bought an Epiphone Emperor. I thought it would help reduce my White Falcon GAS. It totally didn't.
