Which Scumback speakers will be most similar to Mesa V30s?

I don't see the need in recreating a current production speaker, so that's why I don't have a V30 replica. The V30 has a 55hz 444 cone, but there are variations between Mesa, Bogner, etc. My H55 uses a 444 55hz style cone, but it doesn't have the upper mid spike of the V30 (sorry, not sorry!). The H75 uses a 1777 style cone with a doping/chemical treatment, and is pretty aggressive. My most aggressive speaker would be the BH75 which uses a BlackBack era cone and a special treatment to enhance the upper mids.

Clips on YT, or on my site if you need reference tones.

I’ve only ever played thru the Mesa version and I love em. I’ve read many times over the years they sound much better than normal ones….
They sound much the same, I wouldn't worry about it.

The difference when you put a Mesa up against say a Marshall 1960V is the cab dimensions/construction and the fact that 16Ω speakers generally sound brighter and more scooped.

Heresy! Have the speaker Illuminati got to you too?
