So awhile back I got a '76 Fender Super Twin for a great price, that UPS decided to damage after it had survived intact for decades. It's working, and sounds great after new tubes, but is overdue for cap job.

As I'm searching for black friday / cyber monday deals, I found a Fender Super Twin, in very good shape.

Super Twin is my favorite Fender amp...the original; IIRC it inspired the Dumble SSS when he was trying to create the cleanest high power (150W) amp.

So I texted for pics and info, then called the shop, and asked him to he could make sure it works. he tried it out and said it all seems to be working, no buzz, hiss, etc., it's all working except the built in distortion which I don't use.

Original speakers, got a stupid great deal, significantly less than what Reverb pricing says is a great value ($725) and free shipping on that 180W, tube and 2x12 speaker behemoth; has to be close to 100 lbs, and not cheap to ship.

There are pedals and digital amps that cost about the same or more.

Hopefully, it will survive UPS / FedEx this time.
