2015 Cameron CCV sold for 10K in 3 hours......

thats a lotta cheese, but hey more power to the buyer and congrats to the seller

they are definitely cool amps!
 
Heard about this one. Total luck of the draw if you get a crazy buyer that’s willing to just go for it. People list items way out of their range, sometimes it hits, other times it doesn’t. All you have to do is look at classifieds and see the people throwing shit at the wall and it sitting forever lol.
 
That was the first time I heard a demo of one of those amps where I was really like "meh". There's a bunch where I think they sound great but not for me, but that one left me a little unimpressed.

been down the Cameron road, I would have someone mod a Marshall at this point if I needed to scratch the itch. The CCV was cool and unique, but I liked it better in other players hands, especially the VH and 80's players. I had the Atomica as well, and it wasn't my cup of tea either. I play more metal stuff, and while of course it can work, I don't think it was aimed at that. I like to boost as well, and greatly preferred both amps straight in. If a CCM came on the market, that would peak my interest, but no desire for a CCV, especially at that ridiculous price.

You know Mark and I agree, the bass was clipping bad this time. I think Youtube is using some new audio compression algorithm on their videos because we never had this issue before.

Yes and I believe they were Brad era amps that Mark didn't even hand build all the way like this one was. The price wasn't some record it was what the market dictated and it sold at that price.

Remember you claimed I was looking for an investor and collecting money in advance for Mark's amps? None of which happened.

So now I'm a scumbag because I'm trying to find a contract manufacturer so I can get the people that are owed CCVs their money or their amps? Would you like me to make another donation to St. Jude to show you what a scumbag I am and no I don't need a raffle ticket either.

Like dude go and get laid or find a girlfriend or boyfriend or whatever your into, I wish I had time to bitch about an amp company I would never do business with nor care for the designer.
 
At this point there are amps out there that are just as good or better than a Cameron for much less than 10K. To each their own, but that price is way too high when you're really just paying for the name and "prestige."
