I have a Diezel front loaded 4x12 with V30. If I wanted to swap them for G12K100 what OHMs would I need and how would I wire it? Thanks for your help! :rock:

Can it get pretty juicy / compressed or does it need a boost to get there?

I sometimes get a pop when switching to standby, or a couple of small pops when swithching standy off, is that ok? :confused:

I noticed that I have a hum with my Herbert now, more then before. It seems to start out fine and then once the amp warms up a bit the hum gets way louder. I just changed the power tubes, they seem good and are biasing fine but could they cause this? I swapped preamp tubes as well and it didn't...

Great feature! I love it. Just changed and biased the tubes on my Herb, so easy and no screwing around. Instructions from the site where simple, went through the test procedure Peter mentioned, amp sounds great and is ready to rock! :rock:

Any thoughts? I play technical Metal.

It says in the manual the VH-4 puts out 18V DC for phantom power, is this true? My footswitch can only take up to 12V DC or 9V AC. :scared: Thanks!

I've been looking for a 2nd amp for a while to complement my Herbert. Love the beast and all the features and tone, service, everything is killer. So was thinking of maybe getting something simpler or totally different, but I am so used to the Diezel tone and features now, I just decided to go...
