What do you want ? Stuff that really protects the ear from loud or something that works with a band ? It's really subjective. I have been using Hearos for over 40 years with the band's. The foam ones for construction sites.

I'm in Seatac. Need a place big enough to do it. A church is a good place to do these. I helped organize the last Rig Talk PNW back about 2009. We had it in Auburn WA. About 50-60 people showed up.

Tone

It's like a fingerprint. No two are the same.

Not hard to find someone trying to sell you tone. Have ten people play on the same rig playing the same song / material. I guarantee there is going to be differences in the tone. Anyone can hear it.

I usually ran the Master between 11 and 1 o'clock. Gain above noon.

They sounded like shit till they are turned up. I feel the same today as the first time I played on one in 1981 or 1982.

I strongly feel most of the mod amps I have played sounded better before the modification.

The cream starts getting speaker breakup at 1 watt. Like most Celestion speakers.

The EQ curve is all over the place.

Mist of them came from amps or effects that I don't use the foot switch. Pretty much everyone on this forum has a few.

I already have about ten of those. I really don't need a other one. It wouldn't work with any of the Diezel amps if I remember correctly.
