My first Mesa was a IIB. I bought a IIC+, III Red and IVa. All bought new when they came out. Played on several IIC+. None of them sounded the same. Each individual amp sounded slightly different. Not all of them sounded great. I would expect the reissues to sound like some of the better ones.

Lots of fake pickups and pedals.

RHY2 is the pedal channel for a lot of people. The Mark IV does a better IIC+ than the reissue. I expect to see stuff like this soon.

Agree Some of these fakes are better than what I have seen. It's getting more difficult to tell what is fake.

Electrocuted and poisoned sounds serious. Anyone making fake Gibson Mark IIC+ other than Mesa ?

I would expect the price of tubes to go up with the tariffs. I expect the USA made tubes to cost three or four times the price of the tubes from Asia. The quality of metal like the quality of a lot of raw materials is not very good.

I have no idea what normal settings are. I just turn knobs till I get the sound in my head. It's the same sounds regardless of the gear I am using.

I have one of these I use most of the time. I think I bought it 25 years ago.

Sweetwater had a few Boss pedals on sale I was thinking about. Picked up nothing so far.
