It is based on Dave Friedman's 69' smallbox. The one he uses to voice all his amps. I have not tried the one Dave put out recently.
I thought it sounded better than the few Metropoulos I have played on. Completely subjective. They all sound like the vintage Marshall amps.

If you prefer lighter strings and have a lighter pick attack you might prefer wrap around. If you prefer heavy strings and have a more dynamic heavy pick attack you might prefer the normal method.

My friend Andy Marshall designed these. Last time I saw him about a month ago he told me to bring up a few amps to try with them.

I'm mostly interested in using it with my Tremoverb.
I use the Boss DD-500 and DM-101.
The DM-101 does analog delay in ways I never heard before. Sure the digital stuff is more versatile. But the analog sound is just a different experience.
