There is so many different types of wah sounds it's like asking what is your favorite type of ice cream.
I tend to prefer more modern darker tones most of the time. But like the vintage brighter wah sounds also. I believe it is more about applications than anything.
A lot of people already have a foot pedal or other way to control the amp and don't need a pedal. The real question is why pay for a pedal if you don't want or need one ?
So I played on the new 535q last night. It sounds a bit different. I believe it has a different inductor and pot.
I need to plug both in and try them side by side.
I prefer the cry baby stuff. I tried and owned all the common brands. Currently have a 535q 18 watt and a MC404.
I'm probably going to pick up a Crybaby from Hell.

Well yes you can sell your amps but occasionally a individual amp just sounds good or right. Magical actually. Sure you could always buy a other one. But it's never going to sound like the one you sold.
