I’m in Durham, NC. While I can’t promise that UPS won’t throw the thing off a bridge, I have packed and shipped many amps before and they’ve all made it. I won’t be just chucking the thing in a leftover Amazon box and challenging the gods to smite me.

I ordered something new and different. He’s building two right now, one for me and one for him. Mines going to be orange with Bill Lawrence pickups. It ain’t gonna be subtle. 😂

I have one being built, but haven't ever been hands on with one so to early to voice my opinion. But Dallas has been good to work with so far, so that's something.

Stock it's not much of a fire breather, but the grist is there. Much easier to mod than later marks too. I've been experimenting on mine. It was loop modded when I got it which added gain, but you really need to change up the cathode bypass cap on the first stage and change the NFB circuit.
