The Key and the Gate or Zuul?

Hey Dave, still rocking your Rev 2? I’m currently using the Thelema in the loop with mine. Don’t really need it at low to moderate volume, but when i crank my amp, it’s my gate of choice now. I don’t mind a little hiss either and was always disappointed with gates in loops. That’s why i choose...

The Key and the Gate or Zuul?

Yes, i have the Key and Gate. Very transparent, not the quickest responding gate but offers great sustain. For the Thelema, i bought it new there: https://www.storenvy.com/products/30730552-thelema

The Key and the Gate or Zuul?

I got the Thelema recently and didn't liked it too much in front of my amps, like i usually use my gates. It's messes with the signal a bit, it gets kind of blurry in the lows with my stuff. I tried it in the loop like it should be used and i love it. I've never tried the Cockblocker so i can't...

    Mesa 4x12's - 240 or 280 watts?

We did the test, older and new cabs at the same time in the same amp. We couldn't hear the new one that well, the older 280 watt was definitely louder.

    Mesa Dual Rectifier Hum

I got a hum problem with one of my Dual Rectifiers lately. Only when i'm in Modern, even when i have nothing plug in the amp input. For sure it's not the tubes, they work fine in my other amps. Does someone knows what could be the problem? Thanks! Chris

    Mesa: bias question

I would like to ask the experts around here. I bought a Dual Rectifier Rev G that sound insane around 9 o'clock and a little more but when i'm cranking it louder (band level) it start to compress and i don't like the sound it produce. It doesn't need that much to be perfect. If i do a bias mod...
