as far as how it's built ..... The BD-2 is a bit more complex circuit wise .... it utilizes JFETS .... which the SD-1 does not .... the clipping section is a bit different ... there's a few other things ..

yeah .... let me know if you find a " Wayne's 808 " at GC ......

I think the Blues Driver is probably as much as a " household name " as the SD-1 ... but not in the High Gain world

Thanks !!!! do me a favor ...... plug that ringer into a good hi gain lead tone ..... on a neck humbucker with the tone rolled all the way back ( aka Woman tone ) and then play some single notes in the 12 th fret kind of area ..... It's amazing !!!!
