What's the difference between the MXR M117R delay and EVH
... version of the same pedal other than the EVH switch and the paint scheme? Is it basically the same pedal? I'm trying to decide whether or not to sell my M117R and buy the EVH, but if the effect is basically the same I'd rather not waste time with it. Anyone here ever compare the two...- zone47

Axe-Fx verses a real amp ..... any impressions ?
I tried one and was pretty amazed with how good it sounded. I was playing through a Crown D150A power amp and some JBL cabaret pro 4628B cabs .... pretty good stuff.
