My main board alternates between a 535q and a Clyde deluxe. I play classic\southern rock, outlaw country, and 90's rock\metal. RMC will be my next wah, just not sure which one! I tend to lean towards the 535q as my fav just because the sweep on the Clyde is different and I think i'm just used...
Sorry just realized you posted the same thing i did about Al.
I LOVE TSO, have it playing now. Wizards in Winter, A Mad Russian's Christmas, and Toccata all kick ass.
I hate messing with acoustic amps and never like how they sound. I go direct. Sometimes straight into the PA with my LR Baggs Para di, sometimes I use my Kemper to load an acoustic IR and add a few effects.
My '13 101b is my favorite amp ever. One thing about them, you can't adjust EQ with your eyes, you have to be willing to turn knobs into some weird positions lol. I like the red channel, but I LOVE the red channel with an EQ in the loop.
+1 for the Ultra's and Pro ii's. On the used market these are a LOT of guitar for the money, and I am a huge fan of the asymetric neck plate\heel - feels way better for upper fret access!
i've wanted to try them since I saw them on Pete's guitar, but i have no idea about how effective they are. I figured binding probably happened at the nut more than at the bridge but I may be completely off base.
