The stuff on the insurance quotes is pretty wild - apparently this is required for all sorts of vendors at festivals...
We have a few gigs that require us to provide a COI for liability coverage at their venues. In the past, we handled this as a one-off for each gig, and it would cost $50-$75. Recently, the company we used stop serving the state where these gigs are.

bought a couple of captures just to see how they compare to the tonenet stuff, and added a great sounding Klon. Stuck it on the board last night and used the Klon all night into the 2nd channel of my Synergy bassman module, sounded great!
Had a few extra MF points about to expire, thought this would be a fun toy to add to the board. Great JIC direct option if an amp lays down, can use it for an extra pedal slot, small footprint, and sounds great!
However....the software for editing and the librarian are 100% absolute dog shit...

Modelers are a tool. They fit in great in certain applications. This doesn't have to be a binary argument, you can do both.
Bar gigs, I use an amp. Big stages - sometimes an amp, sometimes a Kemper, depending on a few variables.
