I know exactly what you mean. I always feel that the Artist lacks a bit of gain. But after playing for a while, I always find that it has more than enough. I would compare it to the third channel of the Savage SE (which one I slightly prefer to the fourth).
I also had a "red button" Savage and sold it because I was able to dial in the same/better sound on the Savage SE.
Red tolex is Petrozza signature, not Friedman. I had a Friedman too and regret selling it.
The Artist is very nice. In some ways I like it better than the Savage SE. He has a...
5150III LBX is a great little amp. I liked it very much, but I sold it. It was too loud for apartment and not loud enough to hold up with our drummer. If you want LBX for home practice, then probably LBX-S is a better choice.
Those metalheads think that having a white guitar instead of a black one is some kind of big step out of anonymity, or something similar. So to be safe, they need a custom HH-equipped guitar that looks just like the one in the store :D
With all due respect to the forum members... You forgot that most members are faced with only two options in life. Buy/Not buy, Sell/Keep, Awesome/Sucks, In tune/Not in tune etc. Only a certain portion of members can handle three options. And four is almost unimaginable for the vast majority and...
As it is obvious from pics, speakers are 15 Ohm. So in parallel they are approx 8 Ohms.
If you plug a jack to the bottom jack, upper jack is disconnected.
As far as I can see from those pics, the wiring is mono/stereo (somehow automatic selection)
1. amp output plugged into the upper jack - parallel wiring, both speakers engaged, results in 8 Ohm impedance
2. amp output plugged into the lower jack - one speaker is disconnected, just one is...
Bugera with Infinium are biased cold. I had 1990, 6262 Infinium, 333, 333XL, Trirec. All good amps. Not to mention the money paid (around 200,- Euros each). I sold them because of the brand that bothered me. I couldn't stand having a Bugera beside the Engls, Marshalls, ...

Savage just adds another gain stage with it's own gain control. Thrasher and Satan are different and more complicated circuit-wise compared to the Savage. There are also quite significant differences between Thrasher and Satan in a gain control circuit, despite their knobs are the same.
