I run the HPF off; not sure how it would affect it if using a mic, would just need to test it. use the thru setting if only using channel one to pass through; mix if using both inputs. Also had good results using the effects in the Rosette loop and just going DI post everything from that.

The Keeley Caverns is a pretty epic pedal for acoustic, delay & reverb in one. The reverb side has a 'shimmer' setting that's nuts with acoustics.
But yeah, get better to high end preamp pedal > tuner > verb / delay into a powered speaker... its as easy as it gets and sounds phenom.
I've...
Yep....Keeley Compressor > Mesa Rosette > Keeley Cavers (delay / verb > direct into Yamaha powered speaker. Done. I can also run a DI out from the Mesa or the pass through on the speaker to a full PA if needed.
This is another killer unit that won't break the bank, easy to use, relatively...
My Yamaha DBR kicks ass for using it as an acoustic rig (its the powered version of yours....) I also have a pair of the DXR10's and a small powered Yamaha board we use occasionally, they make top notch stuff
Our other guitar player has the LR Baggs Venue and it sounds killer. He also uses an outboard tuner, not a big deal. My Rosette is really nice too but a quite a bit more to wrap your head around as its a parametric type EQ setup. Took me some time to find the right settings but its pretty...
I use a Mesa Rosette pre amp > powered Yamaha DBR12 speaker. Its a killer rig, plenty loud enough to play with drums and bass (I'm 40+ gigs deep into it...). Both the pre and the speaker have DI outs or pass through that you can go direct to a full PA if needed.
This LR Baggs pre is fantastic...
Yeah he makes good ol' tried and true work eery single time. Note though that his favorite amp he has and uses on all his recoding's is a 25+ year old OG Bogner modded Marshall.
I bought Devil Soldier in 1982, still have it...we used to sing along with it hahahaha
Epic album, still is...I miss those days when it took some work to find the good shit.....
Kollman is a major badass....some killer tones in here, well worth the listen.
Love that his primary guitar for a while now is a $599 Gibson SG faded, all stock
"Don't try live what you don't practice with....." Smart advice.
Duende 6V6 version doesn't have the headroom of the 6L6 version....its a little for finicky to get it set right too for some reason. Having owned all the amps mentioned here I would get another Atma before an OG 3534, but a 50 watt 3545 would be interesting. In the low wattage realm I would...
Glad you dug it. I saw them here a few weeks ago and it sucked. Nico bless his heart needs to hang it up. The "third" guitar guy has got to go. The end for me was during one of the tunes when Eddie comes out and Janick was running around stage in between his legs and went went full Milli...
Jason Isbell / Drive By Truckers....
OG studio version...
Killer 400 Unit live version w Sadler Vaden playing a 3rd Power British Dream. Love these guitar tones...
