I thought the paddle of a headstock was a bit big when I used to look at Vigier 7 strings. But when I got one, I swear it gives better tone.
Yngwie says the same about oversized 70s strat headstocks. That and non locking nut, which the Vigier also has.

Looks beautiful. What is it about your Caparisons that this can’t “beat out”? I’ve been looking at Suhr a lot lately, and one of the main reason if stainless frets. I find the Japanese guitars that I love are slow to going stainless.

I just need a bridge pickup that sounds in a mahogany Ibanez right now. Without being over hyped like the tone zone was. I think I have an air classic in there now and am still not happy. I’ll save this for another thread though.

Are you sure it’s not all the extra stuff on top? Like the reverb? I have a kemper and the ToneX software. Same goes for both of them, a lot of garbage profiles (or ones that don’t work for me personally) and then some golden ones that I love. I use the Kemper and forgot about the ToneX stuff to...
