Made the mistake of playing a Tom Anderson…

I used to be one as well, hence the name. Once I played my first one, I knew I had found my builder. Best neck for my hands and Tom, Roy and Markus are the best in the business!

Made the mistake of playing a Tom Anderson…

Congratulations, Keith!! I was bitten by the Anderson bug back in 2009. I have five and will get another next year. My wife promised me a trip to LA next summer and she wants to do a tour of their shop and spec out my next guitar. I can't wait!

    Free Recording Software

I still use n-track. I started using it back in 2000. Easy to use and has been super reliable.

    Man, Bleed From Within...

If they would release an instrumental version, I would listen to it exclusively!

    Man, Bleed From Within...

My favorite is Fracture but this newest release, Zenith, is great too.

    Man, Bleed From Within...

These guys have been on a constant rotation for a few months. I know they've been around for a while, but they are sick! That breakdown and solo! Instrumental Version in case you don't like the vocals

I always loved some Lillian Axe

I still listen to Moonlight in Your Blood. Saw them back in the early 90s. Stevie had a cool guitar solo.

    Need to Ship an Amp...(Question)

Wow, that's awesome! I wish more people were like that when shipping. Back in the mid-2000s, I did much more buying and selling of amps. I purchased a Framus Cobra from eBay. The dude sent it like he was packing a package of balloons. He clearly didn't care how it arrived and took the path of...

    Need to Ship an Amp...(Question)

I have a 3rd Power Kitchen Sink combo. It has been my favorite amp, and I have played about 100 gigs (excluding rehearsals) with it since 2019, when I received it as part of my custom order with Dylana. I contacted her about shipping and she offered to send me the packing materials and a box...

    Need to Ship an Amp...(Question)

I went to a guy locally, based on a lot of recommendations in the scene. He couldn't get the chassis out of the combo (I believe double-sided tape). I saw him pulling at it and I about flipped. Plus, he spent the whole time telling me that he doesn't like the preamp tubes and that the amp didn't...

    Need to Ship an Amp...(Question)

I have never heard of Pirate Ship. Are they reliable? Thanks for the recommendations, all!

    Need to Ship an Amp...(Question)

Is there a particular package carrier that you would recommend?

    Need to Ship an Amp...(Question)

I need to ship a combo amp back to the manufacturer in Minnesota for a tune-up. The combo is a 1x12 and weighs about 55 pounds. I don't have the original box. What is the best way to pack and ship an amp of this size? I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

    Hell Yeah!!! New Testament Tune!

Chuck Billy is one of my favorite metal vocalists ever!

    XTC 20thA or Axe Fx3?

I've owned the XTC 20th Anniversary with 6L6 tubes. One of my very favorite tube amps I have owned. It was a Swiss Army Knife and did it all very well. I think you would be very happy with it if you like the previous XTC versions. I have a couple of other clips but here is one I recorded about...

    Anyone else find modelers/sims uninspiring?

I recently sold my FM9 and grabbed a Kemper Stage. I almost forgot how great the Kemper is and how good it feels. Plus, I love using Performance mode when playing live.

Recommend a Delay and Reverb pedal for 80s metal

I use the TC Electronic Flashback. Sounds great on my tube rig and it has a 2290 setting if you want it to sound reminiscent of the real thing.
