Put some vintage sylvania and rca tubes in the amp.
First impression is solid. Totally stoked about this amp. Came in amazing, like new shape from FondledDuck. Like it more through my Mesa recto cab so far. Lots of ways to change tone with this guy.
What are you guys using for effects?
I'm using pedals, mxr carbon copy, zw chorus, eh nano verb, nothing crazy in the loop.
Loop seems a little Tricky to figure out? The gain channel is insane though.

What are you finding tricky about the loop? I find it pretty straightforward. I just have the loop mix set to max and it works fine for me. I'm just using a TC Electronic Flashback delay and Corona chorus in my loop, so nothing fancy going on in my setup.

For preamp tubes I like:
V1: Tung Sol RI
V2: Chinese 9th gen
V3: Chinese 9th gen
V4: JJ
V5: Chinese 9th gen
V6: Sovtek LPS with balanced triodes

Just that I have to run the channel volumes pretty low to get a decent balance engaging the loop.
I also have the loop mix set to max. I can get the clean sounds with the loop
Engaged and be totally transparent but with high gain there is a noticeable drop in punch and volume. May by just the circuits, or the nature of the gain channels. The gain channel seems very complex and 3d.
Are these meant more for rack processors ?

I believe the loop is designed for line level effects but I haven't experienced what you're describing with my TC stuff. I've also used an MXR and a Danelectro EQ in the loop and didn't experience an issue with drop in punch/volume. I have a regular Rev Blue Uberschall though and not a Twin Jet, but I would assume the loop is basically identical.

Run the Global Master at noon and it'll smooth out the F/X loop.
Is it loud? Well hell yes,but you and the rest of us didnt buy this amp to be a pussy whisper bedroom volume tinker toy.

I run the master above noon if possible. Sounds thick through the recto cab.
Louder I turn the amp, the more of a drop it gets though (after 1 or so)
I just ordered a tc electronic mini spark (20db of pure clean boost) to put in front of the pedals.
I read someone else did this with another clean boost, and was able to turn the loop send down to half, and played at any volume on the master or preamp, and achieve unity Gain and loudness. It'll be cool to add some punch to my carbon copy delay also.
I have the amp getting a fresh set of kt88 at my techs, then I should have the pedal in and I'll report back.
This amp is a beast and I can coax many tones out of it!!

Smart idea putting the clean boost in the loop. Let us know how that works.

The little tc spark mini clean boost worked well, now I can give it a slight volume boost and engage my delay/reverb/chorus with one stomp. Glad it worked like I thought. Maybe this will help some of you that use pedals and aren't getting the volume. No added drive or coloration besides what the pedals do.
