Nothing screams KISS and Paul Stanley more than the outrageous body styles of the Ibanez Iceman AND the WASHBURN PS2000!!!!

I saw this very unique USA CUSTOM SHOP PS2000 on reverb earlier this week. It’s Silverburst!!! Being the HUGE KISS fan that I am, it was a must have!!!!

I was thrown off a bit. Usually you see the gloss black, the cracked mirror or the rhinestone finishes from the Washburn custom shop. But not a Silverburst???

This particular guitar was not played very much. Probably bought as a KISS collection wall hanger. No fret wear. No dings. No scratches. It weighs in at a solid 9.5 lbs. The frets were covered in tarnish. The stings were beyond dead. So it needed a complete cleanup/setup and fretboard conditioning.

These guitars hang like a firebird. Kinda like an explorer too. With one of my WELL HUNG padded straps, 9.5 lbs doesn’t seem so bad. It’s very well balanced.

The neck is a medium C. Kind of a cross between a R0 and a R9

This PS2000 is also factory stock. Factory pickups are a Duncan 59 in the neck and a Duncan Distortion in the bridge. V/V/T controls. Ebony board with MOP/Abalone inlays. Jumbo frets.

The tone is what you would expect of a guitar made for a Rock n Roll legend, like Mr. Stanley….IT SOUNDS GREAT!! That is a great pickup combo!!!

It also came with a signed COA from Washburn and a leather covered hard case.

Overall, I’m very happy with the guitar. I wish it was a tad lighter. But as far as playability and tone, it checks all the boxes!

I didn't know Washburn had made an Iceman like model. That's pretty cool, Brent. Happy to see you're still rocking!

That’s sweet man! You always take great pics too! Bravo

Don't wanna be a party-pooper, but lookin' at image #7, are you sure that's an ebony board? Because it looks hella brown.
On the picture where it's hanging, lighted, it looks darker already.
Congrats on a cool score anywayz!
