US population is 330,000,000 - that's a LOT of all types of people.

Straight parent, queer parent, I could care less. You earn or lose respect on your own merits.

I think there's just WAY TOO MUCH pre-judgement and assumptions going on simply starting
with gay and not looking any further. Not saying you - but in general.

See, the issue going on in this country right now is that there is way too many fucking people ( this sentence could stand alone couldn't it?) not minding their own business. The truth is a whole lot of us are a lot more alike than the news people and morons want to pretend they are. My militant union friend Jerry is a democrat who loves guns and may even be borderline racist. He was going to actually vote for Trump until that debate. Many union guys I know voted for Trump the first time because Hillary, really, that fucking bitch, jesus.

Anyway, I am socially pretty much a libertarian. I am a fiscal conservative, a gun guy and pro strong borders and national defense. I think if the democrats would get off guns and republicans would get off Jesus we'd all end up voting for the same people.

I do no social media. I go to 2 forums. One is a Beatles gear forum and the other is a gun forum. At least until yesterday when I joined here. Arguing about politics gives me a headache. I'm actually pretty tolerant of most things, but when people start advocating to pass laws that would take shit away from me I'm not very tolerant.

Once had my Glock taken away as part of a 5150.
The shit I had to go through to get it back was comical and would make a great sketch.
Took about 18 months all told.

5150 was a few months before I hit absolute rock bottom and quit booze.
Fun story if you've never experienced one.
