💀Original Track Challenge: MARSHALL 🐏

Didn't spend much time tweaking for a mic placed mic in front of soeaker. Straight in as always. Drum ideas spawned the track. Played is a Black plate 6l6 loaded SLX 100 into a veteran 30 setup. No peq. No bullshido code. Close your eyes and come up in the clouds with me n00b.

Thesis: Hurricane storms and floods that have sunk some of my state, have kept a mix of energy in the air. Lots of people are sad, many are hopeful. With either one for me, writing helps alleviate that energy being absorbed and put it into musical vision. The soul then recharges for a minute. ChuggYEAHBROTHER 😤

Pretty cool .hows the low end compare to say the Herbert ? Other 900s did have good low imo for chug and brutal tones

It's pretty sweet. Actually to me it sits in a different area. The low end is not as compressed on the Marshall and comes across as having more attack. There are more sub lows with the herbert. But with the Marshall through the same speakers it delivers very full and chuggy low end. More lows on the dial means less preamp gain needs to be dialed in or it gets loose and over saturated. There is more compression on Diezel, Marshall is more airy. I like where the mids sit better with the Marshall. Together the mids compliment we'll in the room. But if I'm forced to pick one for its mids, I'm keeping the SLX because it sounds just as big to me in the room.
 
Cool riffs man... the drums were a little loud in the mix but trust me I know how that goes lol... keep em coming!
