Chuggs drum machine is the 2ND most hilarious sounding shit I've ever heard on RT, right behind the tone dig's version of "sweet child of mine"

it sounds like the drums to a late 90s playstation 1 game, written by someone's girlfriend

It also sounds like he gets way off of rhythm, esp the towards the end of the track with the triplets

But the tone is decent, sounds like a great amp tone that's either not miced particularly well or the stock IRs in a freeware VST

You can tell PLXs a far superior player, but his track was less creative even if it sounds better

The lead tone is great, but the riffs in his track are pretty bland and the tone seems like it's set up for playing leads and not riffs. It definitely has potential but needs a bit more grind, low end, and midrange aggression if the track is gonna be that slow and plodding - if you're going for "sad but true" or "man in the box" vibes you need a monster low end to match it

All in all I think PLX is capable of a better track and that this is kind of "unanswered questions" riff war, like "what if Draymond green didn't get suspended in '16"
