I want to run 2 amps A/B one at a time. Being able to use the effects loop on the board into both amps. What is a good pedal for this. Also front end pedals into both amps?

Oh and I don't want any rack units. Want to have it all on the pedal board and no midi :scared:

Can't be done (I tried to do this & couldn't find a solution). If you're talking about each amp having it's own speaker you will end up with impedance issues trying to get 2 effects loops into 1 effect unit.
If you would consider using only 1 cabinet with 2 heads there is a solution;
You will need to consider the Ampette 222 amp switcher - this unit allows you to patch in both effects loops & use all your pedals in front, whilst providing safe switching between the amps

I'm going to be using a axxess hs2 amp head switcher.

Should I run my effects loop into a separate amp for wet dry wet?

Yes it may provide a poor partial solution however There's still 2 issues :
1. The Axxess will colour your sound
2. You have 2 effects 'outs' going to 1 effects - impedance issues.

Unfortunately this won't solve the issue. I've thoroughly investigated how to do this & the only way is with the Ampette 222 amp switcher. Sorry buts that's the only solution - if it was easier everyone would be going it!

I think I will just run my Strymon Flint in my Mk III loop alone.

In the Bogner loop will be a delay, Hardwire supernatural and GEQ-7

Everything in front of both amps.

The top row is loop. The 2 single boxes with the Flint ( not the blue sky, they didn't have a flint model listed for this app) 2 grey boxes are mesa channel switches.

Big grey box to the left is xtc pedal and geq-7 delay and hardwire super natural for bogner loop. The single grey box below that is the A/B switch for the Axxess HS2 amp head switcher.

Im using a Korg pitch black tuner, TW-1 boss (not aw-3) and the dirty lil secret is actually a Fulltone Tone Bender. I think everything else is correct.

I have to use a PT Pro 32 x 16 :aww: to fit everything. I don't need 2 amps but sometimes I think the Mesa Mk III sounds better for Rolling Stones, Unless I get the "Black '65" and it replaces the Mk III

Ha! Yes I have up & did the same thing - annoying but it's the only solution.

Nice looking setup & good luck

You would think they would design something to separate 2 amp loops with 1 effects loop set up :gethim: :gethim:

Wow $1800 :aww: Would be cool if they made a pedal version for 2 amps

I just sold off all the rack stuff and trying to get away from midi

Radial Twin City ABY switcher for running 2 amps, super reliable unit.
Won't take care of the effects loop thing you want to do though

I had the radial 2 amp-1 cab pedal before and didn't care for it. I have an Axxess hs2 on the way. Just think someone would have made a pedal that can do it by now.
