Hey Guys,
I was extremely fortunate to get ahold of this awesome guitar overnight and use it for some videos.
There really is something special about these old bursts.
I didn't want to believe it at first but comparing it to even the best custom shop Greeny Les Pauls, it has something the new guitars lack.
Especially when playing single notes, they have a chewiness that I haven't noticed on any other guitar.
The original PAFs measure 8.33k on the bridge and 7.9k on the neck, in circuit.
This guitar has some history to it, being one of three 1960 Les Pauls that were sold in Italy that year.
The first owner added a Hagström tremolo to it, which was removed in the 80s by the second owner.
That's why there's an inlay and some smaller filled holes behind the tailpiece.
There's another video coming next week where I play some metal with this guitar using a different amp.
