I really want to try these tubes in some of my amplifiers…
I just haven’t had the chance yet. I have one question, how would these compare to the groove tube (Slovakian) E34LS?

I believe the Groove Tube EL34L is the same as the JJ EL34L. These Ruby tubes have a similar extended low end because of the big bottle construction, but they're more defined in the high end and less smeary in the mids compared with JJs. Pretty hi-fi for an EL34.

The Ruby's reliability is better as well. I went through 3 sets of JJ EL34Ls in the year I owned an Uberschall--they all developed some form of unusual noise from normal use. I'm frankly not a fan of any JJ tubes.

I am discovering the same thing with the JJ's...
I have always despised HATED the JJ preamp tubes, but the power tubes have been ok for tone, but the reliability is not good.
The JJ 12AX7's are just dead - choked - muddy tone.

Any idea why the "TC" or Transconductance numbers are soo different?!? One says 3050. The other label says about 5300! That's quote a difference.
