This is a great sounding 50 Laney Supergroup Series MK-1 from 1969.

It’s the rare top mounted chassis version. Plus, it’s the coolest looking Laney model.

This particular amp is all original, except for a few caps and resistors replaced to assure its reliability.

I have this amp since the late 2000s, and it has never been gigged or toured with. It’s spent all the time, since I own it, in my smoke free recording studio.

Always run it at 220 Volts, with a Variac and Step Up transformers and 16 Ohms cabinet, as they were intended to, for reliability and tone. And I’ll strongly advise you to do the same, if you want it to last as long as possible, before next maintenance.

This is a non master volume amp that has a great setup, like a Super Lead on the treble channel, with an option for a switchable Treble Cap, and a Super Bass channel, with also an option of a Extra Bass Cap. So, it’s almost like having a 1987 and a 1986 Marshall amps in the same box.

It also sports the original, rare and incredible sounding Partridge transformers.

The amp is working 100% and sounds incredible, as you can see in the videos attached, but like all vintage amps sales, it’s sold “as is”, with a no return policy. If you’re in Nashville and wants to pick it up in person, or send a friend to do it so, to verify everything is right and in working order, you’re more than welcome to do that.

Buyer pays for actual shipping costs. Packing and packing material, that I always overuse, will be provided by myself, so buyer will only pay for the shipping fee. Amp will be packed incredible well and will be shipped in the most safe way possible.

Price is $2,700.00 net through PP-FF or cash if local pick up.

(On hold, pending payment, until Saturday)

God damn son. That amp is begging for some skynyrd and southern rock to be played through it. With that much gain on tap it would absolutely fucking destroy with an SD-1 in front.

GLWS. If I had the spare cash I’d snag it. I love my GH100S.

Been on a major Skynard kick lately, funny you mention that but you’re absolutely right !

Thank you!!

Thank you!!

I was just thinking of getting one. Maybe I just buy yours.
You're welcome to buy it!

Thank you! It's a perfect amp for southern rock. I do like the edge of break up on these even more than on the plexis. Might be due to the Partridge transformers. And with a treble boost on the bass channel, it nails the early Sabbath tones.

Fuck that sounds great ! No wonder Lynch always raves about these !
Thank you!! I agree, these are phenomenal sounding amps.

What pickups are in that Les Paul and what is it ? And what cab is plugged in and what speakers in the cab ?

Duncan Whole Lotta Humbucker set. It looks like a 59 replica made with the proper wood. Lightweight and a small but amazing playing neck with old Rosewood fingerboard. Play and sound as good as my two original 50s conversions.
Cab is a 78 Marshall with 25w blackbacks.

The logo makes me LOL, lol
It looks like a " " logo. lol

You got a subscriber on youtube :)

That LP is fire! Top is yummy ?

GLWTS!
Thank you! Yeah, that guitar is amazing.

“T’MONEY.”
-cuz you’re always on the money.
Dude, you are a man of much ‘dilettante’
when it comes to gear.
Models, colors, BANGERS.
That green Harry Joyce stuff was so killer.
I bet within 5 minutes playing this Laney,
-the player comes up with a sweet riff or
song idea.
Tones of gold right there man.

That is one beautiful sound….
Thanks man!!

Dang, that's the sound.
Thank you!
