The sound of rock!

Here we have a clean and stock 1973 Marshall JMP 50 model 1987 50 watt Super Lead head. No mods or funky chassis drilling. Sounds fantastic and LOUD with great crunch and breakup. The sound of rock n roll royalty.

She has been looked after by my tech for years and is in superb condition for her age. Just about to turn 50 actually! Has new tubes and biased by my tech and is ready for its new home.

Would you happen to have any clips? That would be like throwing GAS on the 🔥
I don’t have any videos as I don’t have a speaker cab for it but I can record some guitars through my UA ox box and paste them here… what do you guys want to hear?

Ok here we go, I just recorded the ‘73 using my ox box. Simple Marshall 4x12 with green backs, SM57 and R121. The guitar I used is a ‘64 CS SG with Vibrola that has Arcane Triple Clones in it.

The amp is super touch sensitive so responds well to pick attack and technique. No pedals were used, just a touch of room and a subtle slap back on post.

Please excuse the sloppy playing. @Giblesoqul2001 your cold sweat is towards the end :ROFLMAO:

Setting I used were :

To start…
Presence - 7
Bass - 3
Middle - 7
Treble - 6
Volume I - 4

Then I connected the inputs with the volumes..

Volume I - 6
Volume II - 4

Sweet! I want. That don’t sell it nothing will. I am running around trying to figure something out before its to late.

I do have a 80 JMP 2204

Killer. Great playing, too. I have a 72, and recently picked up a 69 'FrankenMarshall'. These stock vintage NMV Marshalls are killer, boosted or not....just great raw tone for days.
