1978 GIBSON LES PAUL CUSTOM

This guitar has an interesting story to tell...and its a good one that ends well.

Its a 1978 Gibson Les Paul Custom.  Nashville made LP. 

Someone, in their infinite wisdom, tried to add a Kahler 3200 to this beauty....probably back in the 80s.   They tried to do the route themselves and didn't do a great job.

Fast forward to 2017.   The guitar ends up in Kalamazoo.  It was taken to a very good, reputable luthier here in SW Michigan for a facelift to eliminate the Kahler and bring it back to its glory.

It was converted to a trapeze tailpiece, which in my opinion, is an excellent upgrade to this guitar, given its situation. 

I installed a new set of Schaller tuners (originals are included in the sale)

This LPC has incredible tone and great playability!!!

This LPC has no cracks breaks or headstock repairs.
It has its original T-top pickups and 1978 pots and caps
It has its original finish
Original Gibson case
Its been refretted...its a great refret...plays great!!!
This guitar holds tune great.
It weighs 10 lbs
