1984 Charvel Shazam Lightning Bolt Star Bass, San Dimas Era USA MADE ORIGINAL. The guitar is all original from what I can tell, the pickups, Electronics, and Tuners. The bridge appears to be an original, with the solid brass saddles, and heavy duty bridge in black. These are very rare, with the lightning Bolt Shazam graphic. Most of the basses have a Maple Fretboard, this is the only one I have found anywhere with a Rosewood fretboard. The Rosewood on the Fretboard is gorgeous, looks like Brazilian, but can't say that for sure. Very little fret wear, the neck plays amazing, and so comfortable. These necks are special for sure.
The Graphic on these are very detailed. The way the color changes, and the edging really makes it pop. A real work of art. There is wear on this 34 year old bass, the most noticeable being the chip right above the neck Pickup. Did not want to touch it up in any way, leave original. Some dings and nicks which the pictures show. Looks like a small chip right above the middle knob, also pictured. The metal knobs appear to be original, and the solid metal electronics cover. Overly all this is in very good condition. 4 digit serial number, with the 44 shown. Not sure if this is the original case, I will say it is not, it is a very nice case.
