For your consideration…

I have a 1985 Gibson Les Paul XPL DC.

This is a model that Gibson only produced for a very very short time. It’s basically a carved top Les Paul double cut with an explorer neck.

The majority of these Guitars left the factory with a Kahler Tremolo system on them. So did this one. I converted it back over to a Hardtail using the Factory Tailpiece and bridge posts that the Kahler system utilized. The bridge and the tailpiece are locking tone pros.

The bound neck is topped with a beautiful Ebony fretboard with mother of pearl dots. The frets are original and show minor wear. The neck is a 60s style, not super super slim.

The pick ups are original. The controls consist of a master volume, master tone, coil split switch, three-way toggle and a master volume for the middle pick up.

There are no brakes, cracks, or repairs. There are dings and dents and scratches but nothing super super bad. It has been played.

The original Gibson case is included, as is all of the original Kahler parts.

It has a fresh set up with tens on it. Nice low action. The guitar plays and sounds very very nice!

$2900 plus shipping. No trades.

Thanks for looking!
