Great condition Mesa Dual Rectifier Revision F for sale. Serial Number: R-0020XX. As you’re probably aware this is among the first 2500 Dual Rectifiers ever made, back when they kept it simple with 2 channels, and their sound kept a rawness to it not found in the later versions. Think of these as retaining more Mark III/IV dna to their sound, as they do share the same Schumacher transformers, but with a more modern gain structure. The Revision F has a lot of muscular midrange, and what i would say is one of the most clear & beautiful high gain tones ever engineered. Not to mention the often overlooked clean setting (on the orange channel) which would give my Fender’s a run for their money.
