Played gig last night with my quartet, drums, bass and two guiars. The other guitar player has a Marshall 4x12 with Masa Boogie head, had no problem keeping up with that rig. (now he wants to buy 2 Eggy cabs) I had 2 Rebel-112X mic with a Line 6 M13 in to the front. The amp had no problem keeping up with my drumer and the bass play on stage right told me to turn down a couple time. :D I used to play a Blues Jr (Billm's Mods) and this amp blew it away with the 2 cab set up. (the jr always sounded boxy and small) Nice clean sounds and when I need a clean boost I use the tube comp of the M13. I also use the tube drive and classic distortion. I had the 63 reverb on all night and used a couple delays and phasers sounds. I also play with a Vibroverb RI, now both amps are up for sale. Tho only issue I have was the high end, it was hard for me to dial in something I really like, but I know it will take time to find my right tone. All in all for a 1st gig with the amp I had a good experience and a good time! I use to have a bunch of pedles to hook up and play with, now I have a simple good sounding rig.

I want to try the M13 in the effects loop sometime. Egnater is working with me to solve the issue.

great to hear. Have you tried the m13 with a ebtech line shifter? Thinking if the signal is too hot in both the mod50 and rebel I might go that route rather than modifying things (although like I ranted about earlier, I don't understand why any company makes a product to use in line level but they only makes it handle instrument level).

I know, it's like with the bright switch on it's superb with a clean tone but a little too bighting when you kick on a distortion. Turn it off and turn the treble up, nice on the distortion, clean lacks the same beautiful chime. I haven't quite found the right spot yet either. That's just for live use though. In home or studio use ... it does whatever you need it too.

If the bright swith had a pot on it that would be cool. I put a 12AT7 to helped the pre amp from early break up and I had a JJ's in the other two.

The band liked the sound I was getting from the Rebel!
