I'm heading out of the country for almost a month on Wednesday so I'm having a two-day sale to try and move some stuff before I go.
  • These blowout prices are for these two days ONLY. This sale ends September 26 at 11:59pm PDT.
  • All prices are shipped CONUS. No international shipping, sorry.
  • All guitars include their original hardshell cases.
  • All payment MUST be received by 7am PDT on Wednesday, September 27. If I don't have your money by that time, then the sale is cancelled.
  • Local pickup is available but you must come to me in downtown San Diego, CA today or tomorrow. I cannot drive to meet you anywhere (sorry, no time).
  • I will be checking my DMs quickly and often to get deals done fast.
  • All payment must be done via PP F&F, Zelle, or Venmo. I cannot accept PP G&S. No exceptions.

1990 Marshall Model 1987 w/ Friedman Mods
Friedman modded Marshalls are getting harder and harder to find. I think I saw one for sale on Reverb last year. Here's your chance to get a fully loaded one at an insane price. I love, love, LOVE this amp and hope it goes to someone who appreciates it as much as I do.
$---- shipped CONUS
  • 3 Channels: Clean (simple), BE, HBE
  • All footswitchable (channels cannot be controlled w/o footswitch)
  • Independent master volume controls for each channel
  • Bright cap push/pull on gain knob
  • Bright cap push/pull on simple clean
  • Shared EQ for BE/HBE
  • FAT
  • SAT
  • C45
  • 2-way Thump switch
  • 3-way Negative Feedback switch
  • Original transformers
  • Just serviced and re-tubed by Dave in June w/ TAD EL34B-STR's

1969-70 Marshall Model 1959 w/ Friedman Jose Mod
As close as you're going to get to a real Jose without the $15,000 price tag. This amp started its life as a 1969-70 Model 1992 Super Bass but fell into disrepair over the years. However, it still had all its original transformers and whatnot. Dave Friedman "saved" it, changed it to a 1959 spec, and then added a "real" Jose mod in line with what he's seen over the years. Sounds absolutely incredible; this one will sting to let go of. We'll see if it sells.
$---- shipped CONUS.
  • Independent controls for bright and normal channels
  • Normal channel revoiced to make it more usable throughout the sweep of the knob
  • EQ revoiced to make it much more useable across the sweep of the knob (unlike normal Plexi EQ which does very little)
  • Master Volume Control
  • Pull "gear' knob on the front to activate the 4th gain stage, then dial in the amount of extra gain you want by turning the knob
  • 3-way SAT switch on the back: no diodes, light diodes, heavy diodes
  • Friedman FX Loop
  • All original transformers w/ laydown transformer

1970 Marshall Model 1959 Super Lead EVH Spec
The Holy Grail of stock Plexis. This is VH1 in a box. Done to EVH spec including 6CA7 tubes, 4700pf bright cap, "Fat Cap," negative feedback adjusted to 4ohm tap. All work was done by Jeremy at Ground Zero Ampworks. Sounds nuts. I hate to let this go but it is what it is. We'll see if it sells.
$---- shipped CONUS.

I am 99.999% that 1990 HBE Friedman was originally mine, sent it to Dave around 2009. I still have the matching cab but haven’t seen that head in years. Cool that it ended up back on the forum

It’s really an amazing amp

Sale ended, thanks for the messages guys. If you were interested in something, hit me up in late October and maybe we can work something out.
